Rita Rae Loftis, 75, passed away July 14, 2026 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born September 23, 1950 in Fairfax, VA, she was the daughter of Russell and Eleanor (Derby) Rowe.
She is survived by two sons, Nelson (Hope) Ottwell of South Roxana, Philip Loftis of Cottage Hills; two daughters, Dawn Ivy and Angela Brown both of Cottage Hills; six grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a brother, Rick Rowe in New York.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Memorial Gathering held at Schlemer's Bar in Cottage Hills on the 2nd of August from 4-8 pm. Celebration of Life will be held at Meadowbrook First Southern Baptist Church in Meadowbrook IL.
