Richard W. LaTempt, 66, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016.
Born in Alton he was the son of Alice Virginia (Johnson) LaTempt of Wood River and the late Virgil LaTempt.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Rachel (Blake) Uzzell of Colorado; grandchildren, Ronnie, Sean and Scott Voyles, Kari Uzzell; great grandchildren, Easton Voyles and Will Davis; sisters, Karen Hogue of East Alton, Debra Davis of Bethalto; brothers, Virgil LaTempt of Wheaton, Bob LaTempt of Godfrey and Steven LaTempt of Bethalto.
His father; two brothers, Terry and Danny LaTempt; and a sister, Virginia LaTempt preceded in death.
Private services were conducted with Father Donald Wolford officiating.
Burial was in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
