Richard Serkin

Richard F. Serkin, 65, of Caseyville, IL, born December 11, 1960, in St. Louis, MO, died Friday, December 26, 2025, at his residence.

Richard was a retail executive for many years prior to his retirement. In his early years, he was a standout high school and college basketball player. Richard loved to golf, travel, and spend time with his pets. He was also a very strong believer in his faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Patricia Serkin, nee Skye; his brother, Daniel Serkin; his sister, Susan Evansco; and a dear friend, Phil Cagle.

Surviving are his wife, Denyce “Dee” Serkin; his brother Thomas Serkin; and a daughter, Kiley Easton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
