Richard Saggio

Richard "Rich" A. Saggio, 50, passed away suddenly at his home at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

He was born on May 17, 1974, in St. Louis, MO, to Bill R. and Antoinette (Parrino) Goetz of Marilyn Heights, MO.

He married Amanda D. (Mellenthin) on August 28, 2021, in Highland, IL, in East Alton.

Rich was employed at Lou Fusz Ford as a Mastor Journeyman Technician. He enjoyed fishing, floating, working on his kid's cars and also working on his home. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Along with his wife and parents, Rich is survived by his children Kelsie Webb of St. Louis, MO, Tyler Saggio of Belleville, IL, Dominick Torres, Dayton Torres and Camdon Neal all of Bethalto, IL; one sister, Dana Goetz of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Jack Saggio of FL and Danny (Laura) Goetz of Woodson Terrace, MO; two uncles, Philip Parrino and Jay (Kristi) Parrino both of Springfield, MO; one niece Christine Goetz; one nephew Joshua Wells and nine great nieces and nephews, Brynleigh, Bryson, Brielle, Will, Gwendolyn, Rylan, Thorin, Harper and Avery.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Homes in Bethalto.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home, with Pastor Terry McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow.

Memorials are suggested to his mother Antoinette Goetz.
