Richard Paul Perkins, 58, of Alton, IL, passed away at 11:10 a.m. Tues. Apr. 3, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 11, 1959 in Alton to Mary (Glassmeyer) Moody of Alton and the late Harry Perkins.
Richard Paul loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing and also enjoyed music and family bbq’s.
In addition to his mother he is survived by 3 sisters: Jeris (Melvin) Allen, Valerie (David) Balaco and Carol Gaither of Alton; 2 brothers: John Perkins of Alton and Brooke (Annie) Moody of Edwardsville, IL; and his extended relatives from the Newby family.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by his son: Jacob Paul Perkins; a brother: Joseph Perkins; and 2 sisters: Mary Lee White and Cristine Perkins.
The family will hold graveside services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Apr. 11 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton, with Pastor Seeram Garney officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anchor of Hope Fellowship, 503 Milton Rd., Alton, IL.
