Richard L. Kuebrich, 74, passed away at 12:33 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016.
He was born on November 11, 1941 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Leo and Loretta (Dougherty) Kuebrich.
He married Joanne Schott on June 26, 1965, in St. Joseph, MO. She survives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.
Richard worked for Boeing as a flight test engineer for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey, Alton Eagles 254, St. Vincent DePaul Society, and Duplicate Bridge Club. Richard greatly enjoyed golfing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Julie Huber and husband Mark of Bartlett, IL; Sarah Narkiewicz and husband David of St. Louis, MO; and Dr. Christopher Kuebrich of Fresno, CA; seven grandchildren: Bob and Tommy Huber; Zoe and Zane Kuebrich; and Henry, Leo, and Annie Narkiewicz. He is also survived by two brothers: John Kuebrich of Huntington Beach, CA, and David Kuebrich and wife Betsy of Fairfax, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Beth Kuebrich; and a brother, Francis Kuebrich.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey with Rev. William Hembrow and Rev. Steve Pohlman officiating.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
