Richard L. Hall, 86 of Brighton, died at 7:10 A.M. on Monday, November 28, 2016 at his home in Brighton.
He was born to the late Ed & Irene (Stigler) Hall in Hannibal, Missouri on July 7, 1930.
Richard married Joann (Bock) Hall on July 8, 1955 in Alton, Illinois. She survives and resides in Brighton.
He was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. Richard worked for Laborer Local 218 and was a proud Union member for 65 years. He also belonged to Alton VFW Post #1308.
Besides his wife, survivors include 1 daughter & son in law; Claudia & Jeff Hanlon of Medora, 1 son; Cliff Hall of Brighton, 6 grandchildren; Heather, Neil, Nick, Sean, Eric & Edward, 8 great grandchildren, 1 brother & sister in law; Clayton & Betty Hall of Godfrey
Preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister; Eleanor Lee, 2 brothers; David & Edward Hall
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at Noon on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Targhetta & Wooldridge Funeral Home in Brighton. Military Rites will be preformed by Alton VFW Post #1308 following the funeral service.
Per his wishes, cremation will follow the services.
Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
