Richard DeBiase

Richard DeBiase, 66, passed away peacefully in his Carlinville home on Sept. 28, 2025. He grew up in Palos Verdes, California, and graduated from California State University, Chico. He married Lisa Beachler in 1982 in Chico.

Richard worked in accounting and business administration for many years including owner of Sales Tax Specialists, Inc., accounting support at Karmak, Inc., and most recently advanced accountant at the Illinois Department of Human Services. He was interested in political issues and advocated for various local, state, and national causes.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Beachler, mother Venita Schnaare DeBiase, sisters Linda DeBiase, Anita (Rick) Gilbreath, Elise DeBiase, brothers Ray (Betsy) DeBiase, Carl (Anita) DeBiase, mother-in-law Lucile Beachler, sister-in-law Cheryl Vanick, brother-in-law Robert Beachler, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father Raymond DeBiase, sister Sandy DeBiase, father-in-law Ray Beachler, and brother-in-law Art Vanick.
