Rich Rasler

Rich Rasler, age 55 of Greenville, passed away on February 18, 2025, at SSM Health Good Samaritan – Mt. Vernon.

Rich was born on October 26, 1969, in Greenville, IL, the son of Richard Keith and Sue (Hubbs) Rasler.

He lived a fun and very social life. He enjoyed sharing good times with his friends, playing pool, fishing, listening to rock music, and was very into the political scene.

After graduating from Greenville High School in 1987, he worked for an auction company, Arrow in Breese, Illinois, Eagle Panel in Mulberry grove, Illinois, and was a lineman in Corpus Christi, Texas for many years.

Surviving Rich are his mother, Sue Thompson of Greenville, Illinois, his father, Richard Keith Rasler of Greenville; son, Richard Jacob (Toni) Rasler of Greenville; grandson, Richard John Rasler of Greenville; sister, Shelly (Jon) Sasse of Greenville; and a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Lunch Company, 102 North 2nd Street in Greenville.  In honor of Rich, Hawaiian style attire is encouraged and welcomed.  The celebration will be from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
