Reva J. Bargetzi, age 79 of Highland, IL, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Deceased's Residence in Highland, IL.
She was born on Monday, November 20, 1944, in New Madrid, MO, the daughter of Willis and Ida (nee Stanfield) Jackson.
On Saturday, August 5, 1978, she married Dennis W. Bargetzi at Pocahontas, Illinois, who survives.
She was a member of the Machinist Union; Woodmen of the World, Camp #105 Ladies #6049, Highland, IL; and ABATE.
Reva was born and raised in New Madrid, MO. She worked for local diners. She was a homemaker and her husband worked for AT&T. She moved to Highland, IL, 1969. She worked for Chastain's Nursing Home and other nursing homes for over 16 years. She did private duty home care. She worked for B-line as a machinist, for 12 years and retied as a shop steward. In her retirement she worked as a cook at the Highland Country Club and Highland Speed Way, until the 1990's. She volunteered baking cakes at the nursing home. She enjoyed cooking, playing Bingo, washer leagues, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, traveling, cruises to Aruba and going out to eat with friends on the Wednesdays.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. William E. Kapp, Pastor of the Evangelical United Church of Christ, Highland, IL, officiating.
Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
