Rev. Faye Donohue

Rev. Faye Donohue gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at 5:15 am. She was a resident of Rosewood Care Center in Alton, IL.She was born in Briceville, TN to Richard and Ruth (Duncan) Lindsay on April 2, 1929. She was married to Rev. Leslie Donohue. He gained his heavenly wings on December 24, 2011. They enjoyed 44 years of marriage. At the age of 25, she became a Pentecostal minister. She spent many years serving the Lord and others.She is survived by her son, Gary (Marilynn) VanHooser of Alton; three granddaughters, Michelle (Brian) Garrett of Godfrey, Kerri (Chris) Fulkerson of Hartford, and Ann (Thomas) Spring of Alton; six great-grandsons, Fred and Josh Skelton, Chris and Garrett Fulkerson, and Austin and Jackson Spring; two great-great-grandsons, Zane and Trey Skelton; one great-great-granddaughter, Kynna K. Skelton; a sister, Charlotte Hale of Harrisburg; a brother, Trendell (Faye) Lindsay of Equality; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband; she is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and three sisters.Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017, from 10:00 am until the time of service at Noon at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton with Rev.
