Renae Baker (Harris) (Howard) 69, a long-time Alton resident, died at 8:05 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2017.  Born on December 20, 1947 to Dewey and Olivia (Brake) Harris. She was retired from Magellan Health, but had worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years. Renae loved watercolor painting, getting together with her friends, and spending time with her family, and especially her two granddaughters.She is survived by her husband, Phil Baker, a son, Joel Howard, a daughter, Jennifer (Howard) Crawford, granddaughters Adriana (Howard) Bramstedt, and Rachel Howard.She is also survived by a very special cousin, William Brake, who she always thought of as a brother, plus many more cousins and friends.Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2017.  Reverend Randy Fischer will officiate.  Burial will be at Fosterburg Cemetery.  Memorial gifts may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, Alton, IL.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
