Reggie A. Chappell, 62, passed away at 7:07 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Christian Northeast Hospital.
He was born on July 7, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of the late George I. and Lois A. (Graham) Chappell.
Survivors include his four brothers and sisters in law: Ivon and Valerie Chappell of East Alton, Rick and Regina Chappell of Fosterburg, Jerry and Sandra Chappell of Wood River, Donald and Alicia Chappell of Dorsey, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Reggie was a union laborer for over 35 years for the Laborer’s Local 338 in Wood River. He enjoyed playing fast pitch softball, playing golf, and watching sports.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: John.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorials are suggested to the 5A’s.
