Reba J. Rawlings, 87, of East Alton, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
She was born on January 10, 1939, in Alton, IL, the daughter of Frank and Madge (Bonds) Williams. She married Frank Dickerson in Roxana on November 1, 1958. He preceded her in death in January of 1965. She later married Charles Rawlings in 1978, and he preceded her in death November 14, 1987.
After graduating from Roxana High School, she worked at Altonized Federal Credit Union as a loan officer for 34 years, before her retirement in 1994.
Reba is survived by her children, Karri (Herman) Scott of Jerseyville, and Brad Dickerson of Bethalto; two grandchildren, Samantha Scott of Delhi, and Danielle Scott of Tennessee; as well as a brother and sister, Victoria (Ed) Parsons of Wood River, and Bruce (Anna) Schell of Warrensburg, MO.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Fredrick Schell.
Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded by Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. No services will be held at this time.
Memorials are suggested to The Riverbend Humane Society in Jerseyville.
