Randy G. Phillips Sr., 70, of Alton, IL, passed away at his home at 10:45 a.m. Fri. March 15, 2024.
He was born March 3, 1954 in Wood River, IL to the late Lindell and Mabel (Benefiel) Phillips.
Randy had worked in various jobs throughout his life but mainly in construction doing home remodeling. He also loved to fish.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Amber Phillips of Alton and Elizabeth Hernandez of Romayor, TX: many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers: David Phillips, Lindell Phillips Jr., Bob Phillips and Don Phillips; and a sister: Charlotte Ingold.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Randy G. Phillips Jr.; a daughter: Teresa Cherry; and a brother: Ed Phillips.
The family will hold a celebration of Randy’s life at a later date.
