Randy Jay Fleming, 49, died at 3:12 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital. He was born June 25, 1970 in Alton the son of Russell R. Fleming of Godfrey and the late Mary Kathleen (Whiteside) Fleming. He was an avid musician and loved playing keyboard and guitar. Randy was working for Eagle Tubular Products in Alton. On June 22, 1996 in Godfrey he married Shannon E. (Ulrich) and she survives. Also surviving are one son, Jorgi Fleming of Godfrey, his in laws, George and Carol J. Ulrich of Dorsey, four brothers, Robert Fleming (Jeannie) of Godfrey, Bill Fleming (Betty) of Katy, TX, Gary Fleming of Godfrey and Jeff Fleming (Karen) of Godfrey, one brother in law, Aaron Ulrich of Dorsey and one sister in law, Kara Thompson (Shawn) of Hartford, IL. A Celebration of Life service is pending. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
