Priscilla Christman

Priscilla L. Christman, 78, died at 9:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 at her home. Born August 27, 1934 in Calhoun County, Kampsville, IL, she was the daughter of Asa and Olivetta (Kreamer) Willman. Perky went to Alton Schools and graduated January 1953. She took a job at Bell Telephone until she married Robert L. Lewis, who preceded her in death. They had three children together. She later married Charles Christman from St. Louis, MO. There were married 38 years. Surviving is a son, Robert L. Lewis Jr., daughters, Melissa Allen, Judy Harris, Lynn Caito, five grandchildren, Randy and Mirranda Herbert, Victoria Allen, Tony Caito, and Tim Queensen, and four great grandchildren, Aubrey Herbert, Ray Herbert, Anthony Caito Jr., and Maria Caito. Also surviving is her coffee group that met on Wednesday and Friday, Margaret Herr, Barb Bohn, Linda Hand, Karen Dickons, Joanna Campion, and Mary Dissin. She always had great times with them. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Marcordia Lewis Herbert and her brother, Kendall Willman. Per her wishes cremation will be accorded. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
