To her 23 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren (with one on the way), she was “Granny” and Granny, as well, to many others who knew and loved her.  For many years of family life, Phyllis enjoyed cooking, sewing, vegetable and flower gardening.

She liked country music and trips to Branson.  For decades she and Don ministered to children through the Awana program at a church in Bunker Hill, Illinois. Her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were recipients of her welcoming warmth and love, often expressed in her well-planned, wonderful meals.  Her family will cherish fond memories of walks in her flower gardens, talks, times of laughter and get-togethers.
