Peggy Louise (Fines) Reynolds

Peggy Louise (Fines) Reynolds passed away at 2:25 am on Friday, July 24, 2009, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.
Born May 10, 1940, in Alton, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Mildred (Margie) Gray and Earl W. Fines, Sr.

She graduated in 1958 from Civic Memorial High School. At her time of death she was enjoying her retirement and being with her family. She was an avid reader, loved traveling, especially to Florida and Hawaii, horses, playing card games, home interior decorating, teaching her grandchildren how to baking their favorite holiday treats and arts and crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Frederick Reynolds of Bethalto. The couple was married June 14, 1958 in Bethalto, Illinois.

She has four daughters, Michelle Chapman and Renaldo Titsworth of East Alton, Sheila and Cory Bowen of Meadowbrook , Lisa Bricker of Bethalto, Monica and Shawn Winstead of BFElizabeth, Arkansas, and William Ressler, Jr. of St. Louis, MO. She has ten grandchildren, Toinette Chapman, Brice Chapman, Natasha Albarran, Brittney Main, Travis Bricker, Aaron Bricker, Nicholas Bricker, William (Trey) Ressler III, Hunter Winstead, Buford Thomas (Baby Boo) Winstead; six great-grandchildren: two sisters, Vanessa Fines of Alton and Mary Beth Price of Edwardsville.

She is preceded in death by her brother Earl W. Fines, Jr. and her granddaughter Heather Bricker.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009 at the Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Charles West officiating.
Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo. A Memorial dinner will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Forest Homes.
Memorials may be made out to Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home.
