Pearlie (Raney) Calvin, 90, of Alton, passed away on Sunday August 2, 2020, at 11:47 pm at Jersey Community Hospital.
She was born on July 16, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of John and Helen (Schiesl) Raney. She married Harold Calvin on April 19, 1957 in Jerseyville, IL. Harold proceeds her in death.
Pearlie enjoyed puzzle books and spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids.
Pearlie is survived by her children; Carla Calvin of Alton, Barbara Calvin Harris of Alton; sisters, Kathleen Campbell of Springfield, and Shirley Lindsey of Grand Bay, AL; six grandchildren; Justin Jenkins, David (Courtney) Jenkins, Megan Calvin, Molly Harris, Jason Yotter, Kristina Yotter, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pearlie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, James Yotter; and a grandson, Steven Yotter.
A visitation will be held on August 5, 2020 at 9 am until the time of service at 11 am at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL with Reverend Tim Pate officiating.
Burial will be held at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
