Paula McCollum-Andres

Paula D. McCollum-Andres, 55, went to be with Jesus at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018.

She was born Feb. 21, 1963 in Granite City. She attended East Alton- Wood River High School, and worked in the food industry for years.

Paula was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved being with her family. She loved to dance and make people laugh. She will always be remembered for her generous heart and her willing to help anyone. She especially loved children and loved her grandchildren more than anything.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sarah (Jim) White of St. Charles, MO and Patsy Runyons of South Roxana; 4 grandchildren, Ethan, Alex, Noah and Isaac; three sisters, Cheryl (McCollum) Bertels of West Virginia, Stephanie (Mark) McClure of Wood River, and Peggy McCollum of Alton; many cousins; several nieces and nephews; and her husband Michael Andres.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Patsy McCollum; a brother, Victor Kirk; and a nephew, Randy Pate.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 10 a.m. until services begin at 1 p.m.

Private burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
