Paul R. Dunn, 84, passed away at 10:29 pm on Saturday June 23, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
He was born on July 1, 1927 in Alton, IL, the son of Jack and Girdon (Hicks) Dunn.
He married Barbara Subick on March 17, 1955 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Cottage Hills. She survives.
Paul served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He enjoyed Cardinal Baseball and going to Texas for the winter months.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Randy and Debbie Dunn of Alton, and Gary and Traci Dunn of Godfrey; and two grandchildren, Sam Dunn and Madison Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Louis, Wesley, and Roy Dunn; and four sisters, Willie, Lillie, Norma, and Marie.
Visitation will be from 10 am until time of service at 11am Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, with Pastor.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
