Patsy Joiner

Patsy Ann Joiner, 76, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at  the home of her sister in Wood River.She was born on May 14, 1940, in Lafayette, Kentucky, the daughter of Gillis and Sarah (Campbell) Joiner.Patsy worked for Olin Corp for 40 years prior to her retirement in 2001. She was a member of Vaughn Hill Church of Christ in Wood River, a volunteer at Alton Memorial Hospital for 10 years, and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.Survivors include four siblings, Joyce O. Harrison of Wood River, Nelda “Yvonne” Johnson of Wood River, Paul A. Joiner of Dorsey, Deborah S. (Randy) Wildebrandt of O’Fallon, MO; and several nieces and nephews, Lisa Very, Mark Joiner, Terry Worrell, Kathy Sanders, Vicki Horn, and Steven Holland.She was preceded in death by her parents.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Elilas, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Brian Magnuson officiating.Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.Memorials may be given to Vaughn Hill Church of Christ.Online condolences can be given at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com
