Patrick Kilgo, 65, died at 5:57 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at his residence. He was born August 24, 1946 in Alton the son of the late John Edward and Jacqueline (Hyndman) Kilgo.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and was a social worker for Madison County.
He survived by one daughter; Melanie Munoz of Las Vegas and one son; Michael Kilgo and his wife Mei Li of Las Vegas, three grandchildren; Joseph Kilgo, Maria Munoz, and Miguel Angel Bernal, seven great grandchildren, one sister; Karen Perotka and her husband Rodger of Godfrey, two nieces; Megan Moore and her husband Darrin of Alton and Molly Velikis and her husband Joe of Jerseyville, dear Cousins; Bob and Dee Kilgo and Pat Vine and her companion Betsy Sims and lifelong friends:; Gordon and Rhonda Gaylord.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. At Gent Funeral Home in Alton with Msgr. Kenneth Steffen to officiate.
Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey.
