Patrick Boyne

Patrick A. Boyne, Jr., age 80, born November 25, 1945 in East St. Louis Ill., to Patrick and Catherine, nee Pazderka, passed away in his home October 3, 2026.

After graduation from Assumption High School in East St. Louis, Patrick attended college before being drafted into the Marine Corps, where he served for 2 years before furthering his education at various banking schools. He spent 40 years in the banking business, starting at Bank of Belleville, then Magna Bank, culminating in retirement in May of 2015 as Executive Vice President of FCB Swansea.

Patrick was proud of his children Elizabeth and Patrick and always attended their school and sporting events. He was an enthusiastic Little League coach and especially enjoyed coaching soccer – always supportive in every way. He was equally proud of his daughter-in-law Cassie and loved spending time with his granddaughters Addison and Bethany, taking them to the park, going to the zoo, and attending their sporting events.

Patrick was devoted to his seven siblings, giving advice and support whenever needed, and he truly enjoyed family get-togethers. He also enjoyed travelling and cheered on St. Louis sports teams throughout his life. He was quick to know any stat or trivia about the Cardinals, Rams, Blues, or Mizzou. We will miss him greatly and he will always be in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce, nee Langhauser, Boyne, whom he married June 5, 1976; daughter Elizabeth, son Patrick (Cassie) Boyne, granddaughters Addison and Bethany, and siblings Mary Catherine Boyne, John (Mary Ellen) Boyne, Barbara (Tom) Kinsella, Michael Boyne, Margaret (Robert) Todd, Celia (John) Schuh, and David (Debby) Boyne, sister-in-law Janice (Doyle) Eiler, as well as loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.

Memorials are suggested to St. Vincent de Paul Society. Sign the guest book and view a photo tribute at www.wfh-ofallon.com.
