Patricia V. Cardillo, 88, died at 12:40 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2019, at the Paris Healthcare Center in Paris, IL. Born September 6, 1931, in Oneonta, NY, she was the daughter of Donald and Lois (Watkins) Vincent. Mrs. Cardillo served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and retired as a grade-school teacher. On September 8, 1979, she married Luke L. Cardillo in Rantoul, IL. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2001. Surviving is a daughter, Kathleen Brown of Ashmore, IL, a son, Mark Brown (Susan) of Virginia Beach, VA, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mary Vincent and Helen Sands both of Alton. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Luke Brown and a brother, Charles Vincent. A Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019, at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Father Steve Janoski will officiate.
