Patricia Ann (Wells) Powell, 67, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 11:21 a.m. Sat. July 18, 2026 surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 25, 1958 in Centralia, IL to the late Cleo and Carolyn J. (Hutchins) Wells.
Patricia had worked as a CNA for many years, serving in area nursing homes. She was a member of the Venice Social Club and loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Stephanie (Fred) SanSoucie of Granite City and Amber Morlen of Decatur, IL; 7 grandchildren: Fred SanSoucie, Trenton, Trevor, Tristen, Terry, Talia and Trinity Gilman; an anxiously awaited first great-grandchild; a sister: Lisa Caldwell of Granite City; 2 nieces: Stacie (Kevin) Perigo and Jamie Fisk; 3 great-nieces: Taylor Ohlecker, and Hannah and Kaitlynn Perigo; a nephew: Robert Wells; and a special friend: Ron Jarrett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Jimmie Wells; and 2 grandchildren: Trista and Tanner Gilman.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mon. July 27, 2026 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Metro East Human Society in Patricia’s name.
