Patricia “Patty” Hartman, 61, passed away at 3:15 pm Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
She was born on November 26, 1951 in Wood River, IL the daughter of Fred & Ruth (Rutherford) Young.
She worked for BJC Hospitals and then at Gateway Regional Hospital.
She loved collecting angels, owls, and loved old classic rock & roll.
She is survived by four children, Craig Hartman of Alton, Kevin Hartman of Laporte, TX, Krista & Tom Clayton and Kim Hartman, all of Alton; six grandchildren, Madison, Sarah, Samantha, Meghan, Katie and Lexi; four siblings, Randy Young of Las Vegas, Debbie Shaw of East Alton, Ronnie Young and his wife, Karen of Florida and Candy Young of Alton, and a her best friend, Peggy Gibbons of East Alton. She loved them all very much.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Young and a sister, Paulette Cain.
Private memorial services will be held at Roselawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
