Patricia A. “Pat” Grindstaff, 70, passed away at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital.
Born March 3, 1946 in Russellville, Ky., she was a daughter of J.W. and Esther (Crowder) Carlisle.
She and Bill Grindstaff were married Feb. 8, 1964 in Cottage Hills. He survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a family that was her greatest joy: two daughters, Lisa Grindstaff of Wood River and Michelle Jones and her husband Kevin of Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Marty Grindstaff of Wood River; 5 grandchildren, Eric Grindstaff of St. Louis, Ashley Profer of Marine, Ill., Cody Odom of Wood River, Katie Grindstaff of Brighton, and Kayson Jones of Kansas City; a great granddaughter, Chloe Nevlin of Marine; a sister, Betty (Everett) Runion of South Roxana and a brother, Logan Carlisle of Carlyle, Ill.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where Rocky Runion will officiate services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
