Patrice Burke

Patrice “Dianne” Burke, nee Burton, 75, of Swansea, IL, born Monday, June 25, 1951, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026 at Memorial Hospital West in Belleville, IL.

Dianne was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Belleville. She was active in church and local women’s art groups.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Husband: Stephen R. Burke
• Parents: Lenn and Erma, nee Herberger, Burton

Surviving are her:

• Son: Aaron (Carrie) Burke of Festus, MO
• Daughter: Stephanie (Ed) Emge of Millstadt, IL
• Grandchildren:

  • Zachary Burke
  • Noah Emge
  • Grace Emge
  • Jonah Emge
• Great-Granddaughter: Maren Reed
• Brother: Ron (Suzanne) Burton of Kansas City, MO

• Nieces and nephews

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Children’s-St. Louis.

Services: Private family interment will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, with Rev. Ed Weston officiating.
