Pasha (Dailey) Grothaus, 65, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Staunton Health and Rehab Center in Staunton.
Born Nov. 8, 1960 in Cairo, IL, she was the daughter of Larry and Diane (Gearing) Dailey.
Pasha worked as a waitress and a cocktail hostess at the Casino Queen. She loved animals, and she raised Dalmatian dogs from the same line as those owned by Anheuser-Busch. Spending time with her family and friends was very important to her.
She is survived by her parents, Larry and Diane Dailey of Bethalto; three brothers, Todd (Kris) Dailey of East Alton, Tracy (Debbie) Dailey of Moro, and Troy (Lisa) Dailey of East Alton; nieces Courtney Dailey, Brittney Dailey, and Lauren (Matt) Alexander; nephews T.J., Colin, and Trevor Dailey; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; her aunts, Shirley (Ken) Cook of Cape Girardeau, MO and Patty Gearing of Elco, IL.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester and Gladys Dailey and Gilbert and Mildred Gearing and an uncle, David Gearing.
Pasha’s family will have a private graveside service at Fosterburg Cemetery.
