Pamela E. Newby, 58, passed away 4:11 am Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Wood River on May 2, 1961, she was the daughter of Harold and Ruth (Crouch) Proctor.
She married Larry Newby on March 15, 1980 in Alton. He survives.
Surviving also are sons, Christopher Newby, Thomas Newby, II, Matthew Newby and Billy Newby; daughters, Amber Newby and Courtney Newby; 14 grandchildren; brothers, David Proctor and Tony Proctor; and sisters, Monica Proctor and Deb Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Dawn Proctor.
Private services and burial are in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River in charge of arrangements.
