Pamela Chandler, 54, passed away at 2:49 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at DePaul Hospital.
She was born on November 15, 1969, in Alton, the daughter of the late Tony Forbes and Joyce (Stewart) Harris.
Survivors include a daughter: Tiffany Bufford of St. Louis, a son and daughter in law: Kenneth and Samantha Forbes of Hawk Point, Missouri, five grandchildren: Trey, Bradley, Drayden, Aubrianna, Darren, her siblings and their spouses: Patricia and Tom Saunders of Appleton, Wisconsin, Christine and Dustin Huffman of St. Charles, Missouri, Robert and Heidi Forbes of Troy, Missouri, Jeannette and Kenneth Robinson of Sardis, Tennessee, Harold and Susanne Harris of St. Petersburg, Florida, George Harris of St. Louis, Orville and Sharla Harris of Crossville, Tennessee, Tonda Forbes, Terry and Jenny Forbes, her step dad: Kenneth Harris of Wood River, her husband: Anthony Chandler, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Pamela was a CNA by trade and she enjoyed crocheting, camping, the ocean, fishing, the outdoors, and was a green thumb gardener.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor James Hooker will officiate. Inurnment will be at Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry, Missouri
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family with checks payable to Tiffany Bufford and will be accepted at the funeral home.
