Page Edward Lawrence, 81, passed away at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab with his family by his side.
He was born on December 1, 1942 in Wood River, IL. the son of Leigh and Erma Mae (Jackson) Lawrence.
Page worked as a brick layer before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing. Page loved to be outdoors. But mostly he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his two daughters, Sherry (Kelly) Birdsong of Meadowbrook, and Nancy (Jim) Goodson of Bunker Hill; a brother, Joe Lawrence of Arizona; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Lawrence of Arkansas; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Goodson of East Alton, Ashley (Brandon) Rhyne of Bunker Hill, Kelly (Erin) Birdsong, Jr. of Brighton, Blake Birdsong of Meadowbrook, Alexandria (Blake Butler) Goodson of Rosewood Heights, and Brad Crumley of Gillespie; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Bedwell; and a brother, Alan Lawrence.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Meadowbrook 1st Southern Baptist Church, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 10 a.m. Pastor Kevin Auten will officiate. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
