Oscar James Lee, age 56, died at 9 pm, March 3, 2010 at his residence with his family by his side.
He was born on February 19, 1954, in Alton, IL. to Oscar and Eva (Vail) Lee.
Oscar married Gayle Ontis, she preceded him in death.
Oscar is survived by a daughter; Heather Lee of Godfrey, Il. One son; Eric Lee of Alton, IL. five grandchildren; Breanna, Erica, Anthony, Eric and Destiny Lee, three sisters; Patsy Cozart of Roxana, IL. Bertha Slow and her spouse Tom of Roadhouse, IL. and Ida Lee of Wood River, Il. three brothers; Joe Lee and his spouse Lisa of Wood River, IL. Henry Lee of California, and Charles Lee and his spouse Ronda of Roxana, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, one daughter; Amanda Lee and two brothers; Richard and Robert Lee.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 am, Saturday March 6, 2010 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey IL. until time of service at 10:30.
Burial will be at the Upper Alton Cemetery, in Alton, Il.
