Olivia J. Johnson age 88 received eternal rest and peace on Thursday March 5, 2015 at St. Louis University Hospital. She was born September 26, 1926 in Gary Indiana, the 4th child born to Henry and Zetta Carr Green.  She attended Alton Senior High School .  She was employed as a nurse for several years, and as a high school counselor for troubled youth.  Sue  voluntered at Alton Acres Projects working with  troubled youth in after school programs.  She was an expert antique collector.  She married Ralph Miller (deceased) and to that union four children were born.  She later married Harold Woolfolk and to that union three children were born.  She married William Johnson and to this union one child was born. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Johnson, children:  Olivia Jan Quarles, St. Louis, MO; Cynthia (Larry) Tyler, Matteson, IL; Butch (Regina) Woolfolk, Houson, TX; and Vanessa McMoore of Alton, IL; 13 grandchildren: Teresa, Olivia, Anthony, Leslie, Ray, Dorothy, Charles, Mark, Cecil, Jarrel, Ashley, Troy and Ronnis, 8 great-great-grandchildren, Samantha, Nadia, Jaylin, JAda, Ronnie Jr., Olivia, Jaiden and Madison, two sisters, Wanda Randall, Carol Austin and Henry “Red” Green Sr., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sons Joseph Miller, Leonard Miller, Rodney Woolfolk and Ralph Miller, her siblings: Zetta Stovall, Mary Willis, Florence Klopner, Josephine Williams, Doris Stewart and Joseph Green.Visitation Thursday March 12, 2015 from 9: a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Baptist Church.Officiating Pastor Larry TylerBurial Upper Alton Cemetery.
