Norma Adams

Norma J. Adams, age 73, of Bethalto, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, at her home with her family by her side.She was born June 7, 1941, the daughter of Frederick A. and Esther A. (Nolte) Price. She married James Earl Adams on June 29, 1963, in Bethalto, and he survives.Norma Jean was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto. She loved doing crafts and working jig-saw puzzles. She was a wonderful wife and mother who will be deeply missed.In addition to her husband, James; she is survived by two children and their spouses, Rhonda Jean and Brian Rhoads of Alton, IL, and James Earl and Karla Adams Jr. of Fort Worth, TX; four siblings and their spouses, Frederick T. and Anna Price of White Hall, Mary Alice Wood of Wood River, Shirley Wright of Elverta, CA, and Virginia H. Price of Wood River; four grandchildren and their spouses, Lisa Nicole and Trevor Holmes, Christopher James Rhoads, Zachary Ty Adams, and Ryan Patrick Adams; and a great-grandson, Scott William Holmes.She was preceded in death by her parents.Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens Chapel with Pastor Andre Dobson officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund.An online condolence and guest book may be found at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com .
