Norma Holland

Norma M. Holland, 90, died 5:10 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Alton Memorial Rehab and Therapy. She was born August 13, 1934 in Alton, the daughter of the late Irvin and Mildred (Henning) Wigger. She graduated from Alton High School and enjoyed word puzzles, ceramics, sewing, reading and was an animal lover. She married George Anthony Holland and he preceded her in death on November 6, 1987. Surviving are two daughters, Vicky Saylor (Becki) of Alton and Georgia Wolters (Steven) of Brighton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Paul Holland, two brothers and a sister in law; Robert Wigger and his wife Nancy and Morris Wigger. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to The American Red Cross or the 5A’s Animal Shelter. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
