Nina Madison, 83, died at 9:56 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at OSF St. Anthony’s Health Center in Alton. She was born December 28, 1933 in Alton the daughter of the late Byron and Rosa (Bosaw) Harris. On October 14, 1950 in Alton she married Robert E. Madison Sr. and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2013. Surviving are one daughter, Rose Mary Carter (Bob) of Alton, and two sons, Robert E. Madison Jr. of Alton and Michael W. Madison (Shana Dunlap) of Alton, five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two brothers, Stan Harris and Sonny Harris of Alton and one sister-in-law, Bonnie Harris of Alton. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie Sue Madison and one son, Terry Lee Madison, three brothers, Gary Harris, Rick Harris and Ed Harris and one sister, Nita Burney. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Upper Alton Cemetery with Father Steven Janoski officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
