Nina L. (Igo) Haynie, 73, passed away at 5:37 pm Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Alton Memorial Hospital with her beloved family by her side.
She was born on September 24, 1938 in Batchtown, IL, the daughter of the late Jacob and Luvena (Wallendorf) Snyders.
Nina married Richard E. Igo; he preceded her in death on February 26, 1984. She later married C.M. Haynie, and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2004.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton and a former member of St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Batchtown.
Nina is survived by four sons, Richard Igo of Alton, Robert Igo, Dan Haynie of St. Charles, MO and David Haynie of St. Peters, MO, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister, Marietta Nolte of Brussels and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
In celebration of her life, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday May 16, 2012 at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Batchtown with Fr. Don Roberts celebrant.
Inurnment will follow at St. Barbara’s Cemetery in Batchtown.
