Nicole C. Staszewski, 40, passed away unexpectedly at 7:47 am on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at her residence.
She was born on September 18, 1983, in Alton, IL, the daughter of the late David A. Roe and April M. (Jacoby) Spurgeon of Brighton, she survives.
Nicole married Jason M. Staszewski in Edwardsville on July 22, 2016.
She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her son.
Along with her mother, April, and husband, Jason, she is survived by her step-father, Kevin Spurgeon of Brighton; her son, Jason "J.J." A. Staszewski of Bethalto; a step-daughter, Savannah Cartwright of Highland; a brother, Dylan Spurgeon of Brighton; special uncle and aunt, Bill and Sue Roe of East Alton; as well as several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 9:30 am until time of service at 11 am, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastor Terry McKinzie will officiate. Burial will follow at Bethalto United Methodist Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to an educational fund for her son, J.J.
