Nicole Kathleen Drazen, age 53, of Glen Carbon, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at her home. Nicole was born on April 13, 1970, in St. Louis, MO, a daughter of Grant “Bud” Sappington of Portland, Maine and Evelyn (Schmitz) Larkin of Pierce City, MO.
On February 14, 2002, Nicole Sappington married Daniel Drazen, the love of her life, in Ocho Rios, Jamacia. Nicole worked at Assured Partners in St. Louis, MO., for many years. She enjoyed being outdoors working in her garden. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Nicole loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Nicole is survived by her devoted husband, Daniel Drazen of Glen Carbon, IL; dear sister, Laura (Bob) Elkins of Ballwin, MO; nephew, Andrew Elkins; stepmother, Trudy Sappington; and she was also a loving stepmother, step mother-in-law, step-grandmother “Nic Nic”, step-aunt, a beloved friend and coworker.
A celebration of her life party will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, the time and place are pending at this time.
Memorial donations may be given to Ronald McDonald House of St. Louis, MO, in Nicole’s name in lieu of flowers.
