Nicholas Angleton

Nicholas Wayne Angleton, 31, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 19, 2020 at his residence.

Born December 24, 1988 in Alton, he was the son of Deana (Angleton) Griggs of South Roxana.

Nicholas attended Roxana Community High School. He loved soccer and baseball; traveling with his grandparents all over the United States for Breweriana Conventions and Shows.

He was a very loving and caring person to everyone that he crossed paths with.  Even though his circle was small, his heart was large to everyone he loved.  Not only did he love his family and friends, he loved all of his "fur babies".

Nicholas had been working as a fork lift operator for Geodis Logistics in Edwardsville.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, Jason Dale Griggs of Potosi, MO; Sister, Erica Griggs of South Roxana; 1/2 sister, Brooke Bayuk of Fenton, MO; uncle and anut, Darrell and Carrie Angleton of Alton; and cousins, Andrew and Christopher Angleton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adrian and Ethel Angleton; and aunt, Karen Angleton.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to 5 A's Animal Shelter in Alton.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
