Nicholas O'Connell

Nicholas J. O'Connell Sr, 42, of Gillespie, IL, died at his residence on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 12:29 pm.  He was born July 12, 1981, in Litchfield, IL to Terry Robbins & Jerrie Smith Anderson.  He was a factory laborer.  Nicholas enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, boating.  He also enjoyed spending times with family and friends.  He is survived by his father, Terry Robbins of Gillespie, IL, mother, Jerrie (Steve) Anderson of Gillespie, IL, children, Ashlynn O'Connell of Gillespie, IL, Nicholas O'Connell, Jr. of Gillespie, IL, Briana Barber of Hutsonville, IL, siblings, Joe Robbins of Gillespie, IL, T. J. (Suzi) Robbins of Benld, IL, Dylan Anderson of Gillespie, IL and former wife, Dayna O'Connell of Gillespie, IL.  Friends may call on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to Kravanya Funeral Home.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.
