Natalie Simon

Natalie Ann Simon, age 17, of Bethalto, passed away at 4:25 pm on Friday, March 17, 2017 at her home.

She was born August 6, 1999, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Richard M. & Amy L. (Truetzschler) Simon.

Natalie was a senior at Civic Memorial High School in Bethalto and was a member at Lifebrook Church  in Bethalto.  She loved music, make-up and talking to friends.   Her greatest  joy was her family and she loved spending time with friends and her cat, Aggie.

She is survived by her parents;  four siblings,  Ben Simon of St. Louis,  Emily Simon of St. Louis,  David (Samantha) Jordan of Bethalto and Nathan Simon of Bethalto;  paternal grandparents,  Richard J. Simon of Belleville and Ellen (Al) Julius of Edwards, MO;  maternal grandparents,  Dean (Billie) Truetzschler of Moro and Judy Gifford (Clayton Bond) of  Rosewood Heights;  six aunts and uncles,  Dawn (Howard) Weinbrot of Van Nuys, CA ,   Beth Truetzschler  of  Bethalto,  Jamie (Vicki) Truetzschler  of Bethalto,  Lori (Gary) Davis of Bethalto,  Chris (Susan)  Simon of  Chesapeake, VA  and Corina (Josh) Hamilton of Collinsville;  one great-great-aunt,  Mary Ann Helmich of Bethalto;   cousins, Abigail, William, Jonathan, Kenna, Carter, Jenna, Allie, Joseph, Jake and Beckett and many other extended  relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Steven Van Fossen officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
