Nancy L. Fessler, 90, died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Riverside Nursing & Rehab Center in Alton.
Born May 22, 1930 in Alton, she was the daughter of Marion and Blanche (Strickland) Fessler. She was a homemaker and a member of the former Twelfth Street Presbyterian Church in Alton.
On April 13, 1951 in Alton, she married Leroy Fessler. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2011. Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Leroy Fessler and Sandra Smith Fessler of Gainesville, GA. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephan Fessler and a sister, Virginia Luly.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey. Reverend Steve Rice will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the 5A's Animal Shelter. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
