Morris D. "Moe" Stilley, 66, passed away at 4:30 am on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born on March 3, 1943 in Harrisburg, Illinois, to Earl and Grace (Grisham) Stilley.

He married Jackie K. Williams on June 22, 1967 in Rosewood Heights. She survives.

Moe served his country in the US Navy during the Viet Nam War. He worked at Corley Printing Company in Earth City, MO as a printer for 40 years. He enjoyed working on and owning classic street rods, loved antiques, music and dancing to the "Blues". He lived in the area all of his life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kim & Jay McClellan of Wood River; a grandson, Christopher & Jenie McCellan; one brother & sister-in-law, John & Johnnie Stilley of Lubbock, TX; 3 sisters and a brother-in-law, Delores Ringuette of Carbondale, IL, Earlene & Jeff Jefferson of Atlanta, GA and Diana Crader of Bethalto; his mother-in-law, Marie Williams of Wood River and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sherry & Don Smith of Alton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gina Baker.

In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Saturday, October 14, 2009 at the funeral home with Brother Kenneth Clark officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Alton VFW Post 1308 Ritual Team.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 5 A's or Hope Animal Rescue in Alton.
