Miranda Mueller

Miranda Jean Mueller, 18, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO with her parents by her side.  Born July 23, 1998 in Alton, she was the daughter of Raymond J. and Jennifer A. (Hoke) Mueller of Godfrey.  Miranda graduated from Alton High School Class of 2016 and was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Alton. Along with her parents she is survived by two brothers, Ian Admire of Rosewood Heights and Ryan Admire of Edwardsville.  Also surviving are her grandfather, Raymond “Jim” Mueller and his wife Betty of St. Louis, MO, aunts and uncles; Ron Hoke of Godfrey, Mike Hoke of St. Louis, MO, Dan Hoke of Brighton, Karen Smouse of Godfrey, Ann Adolphson of St. Louis, MO, Mary Miller of St. Louis, MO, Jeanine Kunz of Brighton, Patrick Mueller of Troy, MI, and Joseph Mueller of St. Louis, MO.  She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, William and Jean (Hoke) Snyder, paternal grandmother, Helen (Gerst) Mueller, and an uncle, Steven Hoke.  Visitation will be from 3:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.  A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2016 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church.  Father Jason Stone will officiate.  Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
