Mildred Lauretta Wahl 98 died at 8 am, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Robings Manor in Brighton, IL.

She was born on May 19, 1911 in Alton, IL. to Lester A. and Annie (Wasman) Dolbow

Mildred married Belmont E. Wahl on November 29, 1937 in Clayton, MO. he preceded her in death on March 9, 1989.

Mildred was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Alton, IL.

She is survived by a daughter and her spouse; Nancy and Chuck Carlson of Mt. Pleasant, MI. a son; Belmont and Barbara Wahl of St. Charles, MO. Two grand daughters, Courtney (Carlson) and Tim Nemchek of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Amy (Wahl) Pollard and her fiancé Gordon Werner of Alton, Il. Two grand sons; Darrin Carlson and his wife Jen of Macao, China, and Nathan Wahl of Alton, IL. Twelve great grandchildren; Andrew (Carlson) Nemchek, Jessica, Dustin, Caitlin and Tyler Carlson, Lissa Nemchek and her fiancé Justin Barber, Timothy and Tami Nemchek all from Mt. Pleasant, Carley and Kyle Pollard of Alton, Il. Vanessa and Ciara Carlson of Macao, China. Four great-great granddaughters; Jenika Lauretta-Louise Nemchek, Armony Marie Nemchek, Emma Jane Ryan-Carlson and Bailey Barber. One great great grandson, Dominic Barber.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Belmont Wahl two brothers; Lynn and Edward Dolbow, and a sister; Katherine Dolbow.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home, in Alton.

Services will be at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, IL. at 10 am on Saturday, March 27, 2010 with the Rev. Andre Dobson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Upper Alton Cemetery, in Alton, IL.
