Michael P. Tchoukaleff, 80, passed away at 4:25 pm, Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Sacred Heart on the Emerald Coast Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Alton, Illinois on July 15, 1932, the son of the late Peter and Nedelka (Stoyanoff) Tchoukaleff.
He married Jacqueline (Spaeth) Tchoukaleff on August 28th, 1954 in St Louis Missouri. She survives.
He was a salesman for over forty five years. He attended Western Military Academy and Westminster College in Fulton MO, and went on to serve his country in the United States Army as a Lieutenant. He was also involved in AAU and US Swimming where he officiated swim meets all over the country.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Michael Tchoukaleff (Debbie) of Alton, Illinois and Jim Tchoukaleff (Sarah) of Dallas Texas, three daughters; Debbie Reilly (Ned) of Clayton, Missouri, Kim Harrison (Steve) of Edwardsville, Illinois, and Cindy Dawson (Vincent) of San Antonio, Texas. Twelve grandchildren: Ted (Yuko), Peter, and Julia Reilly, Megan, Kate, and Ryan Harrison, Peter and Anna Tchoukaleff, Vincent and Drew Dawson, and Abby and Jack Tchoukaleff, His sister Katherine Kean (Robert) of New York and four nephews.
Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
